Thank you so much – you made the pregnancy and birth of my fourth baby perfect!

 

I was never told what to do but all the options were discussed and I was given the opportunity to make an informed decision on all aspects of my care.  During the pregnancy I grew to trust you all completely which gave me a tremendous sense of security.  I am sure this contributed to an easy, quick labour – I genuinely enjoyed the birth!

 

During the labour Rachel and Vicky were there but I never felt their presence intrusive.  At one point I remember feeling a sense that I couldn’t manage anymore and I was asked if I could feel the baby’s head.  I will never forget that because feeling his head was amazing and gave me the strength I needed to go on.  I cant thank them enough for that and for letting me be the first person to touch my baby.

 

My only regret is that I didn’t use the Essex Midwifery Practice for my first three!
